WHAT CHANGES WILL OCCUR ON THE 1ST OF JANUARY 2017?

With effect from 1st January 2017, QSL Support N.V. shall cease to be a party to the agreement to which you have signed up via our Affiliate Terms and Conditions. Quasar Affiliates will therefore be operated solely under the management of Quasar Limited, a company incorporated in Malta.

MY COMPANY/I AM AN EXISTING AFFILIATE FOR MANY YEARS. WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?

As an existing affiliate, you need to make sure that all your personal details including but not limited to your name and address are correct.  Moreover, it is of utmost importance that your “Tax Status” is up to date and includes the correct VAT registration number if you have chosen the option “I am registered for tax”. Furthermore, payouts will not be made out to any affiliate account if these do not have the correct and up to date information.

WHEN SHOULD I OPT FOR “I AM REGISTERED FOR TAX”?

If you are obliged to be registered for VAT in your jurisdiction you should choose this option and further include your full VAT Registration Number under the option “Tax Registration Number”.  However, if you are not obliged to be registered for VAT in your jurisdiction,  you should leave this box unticked.  It is your sole responsibility to determine which option applies to you and to inform us of any change in your personal details or tax status immediately. Quasar Limited will not be held responsible for any incorrect data provided.

I AM AN AFFILIATE RESIDENT OR ESTABLISHED IN MALTA. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

As an affiliate based in Malta you are obliged to be registered with the Malta VAT department, however it is your responsibility to determine which category is applicable to you.  Different categories exist depending on the nature of your activities and your individual set-up.  Further information can be obtained from the Malta VAT department’s website https://vat.gov.mt/en/Pages/Frequently%20Asked%20Questions.aspx. As a Malta based affiliate you are obliged to send an invoice to Quasar Limited in order for your commission to be settled.  Failure to produce an invoice from your end will result in your commission payment being withheld until such invoice reaches Quasar Limited.  Quasar Limited will provide you with a document which will contain the value of the commission you have earned during a particular period and the VAT value depending on the Tax Status option chosen by you.  This commission value amount should formulate the basis of your invoice and shall be considered the prevailing amount in the case of a dispute. Please note however that Quasar Limited does not assume any responsibility or liability in respect of the accuracy or correctness of the details included in your invoice, particularly any details relating to VAT.

I AM AN AFFILIATE RESIDENT OR ESTABLISHED IN A MEMBER STATE OF THE EUROPEAN UNION (EXCEPT MALTA). WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?

As an affiliate based in an EU Member State (except for Malta based affiliates), you are required to be registered with the VAT department in your jurisdiction unless you are exempt under your local VAT conditions.  In case you are exempt from VAT please do not choose the Tax Status option “I am registered for tax”.  However, if you are registered for VAT, your VAT number must be included in your payment detail section along with your company/individual name and address as registered with your local VAT department. You shall not be required to issue an invoice given that Quasar Limited shall issue a self-billed invoice on your behalf. You shall have twenty four (24) hours to contest the content of the self-billed invoice. If you do not contest the invoice within the established time-frame, Quasar Limited shall consider such as a tacit approval of the invoice by yourself.

I AM AN AFFILIATE RESIDENT OR ESTABLISHED OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN UNION. WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?

As an affiliate based outside the EU, you are responsible to establish whether you need to be registered with your jurisdiction’s VAT department and pay VAT or any other tax there or otherwise, particularly because not all non-EU countries have a VAT mechanism in place.  If you are registered for VAT in your jurisdiction we recommend that you enter your VAT number (or a similar identification number) in your payment detail section along with your company/individual name and address as registered with your local VAT department. If your country does not have a VAT mechanism in place, then you may choose to leave your Tax Status empty. You shall not be required to issue an invoice given that Quasar Limited shall issue a self-billed invoice on your behalf. You shall have twenty-four (24) hours to contest the content of the self-billed invoice. WILL MY COMMISSION BE AFFECTED?

Whether you are based in Malta, EU or Non-EU, your commission will not be affected.  If you are based in Malta and liable for VAT, you will be responsible to charge the correct VAT on top of the commission earned.  In all other situations, no VAT will need to be charged on top of the commission earned.

I WOULD LIKE TO REGISTER A NEW AFFILIATE ACCOUNT, DO I NEED TO WAIT UNTIL 2017?

No, you may go ahead and register to the Affiliate Program today.  Should you not have your VAT details at hand yet, please ensure that you update your details by no later than mid-January, 2017.

WHAT IS AN AFFILIATE PROGRAM?

An affiliate program is a partnership with an online merchant which compensates you (the affiliate) for any sales you send to the merchant from links on your site. An affiliate program is an affordable way to earn money from your site, without going through the expense of setting up an e-commerce infrastructure. Affiliate programs have become extremely profitable, offering affiliates the means for unlimited earning potential.

HOW DOES AN AFFILIATE PROGRAM WORK?

Visitors to your site will see your affiliated merchant’s adverts offering competitive products and services. Your visitor can click on the link provided which will redirect him/her to the merchant’s site to view more details on the promotions being offered. Should they register and make a deposit, you, as an affiliate, will earn a percentage of the revenue generated by the merchant.

HOW DO I SIGN UP AS AN AFFILIATE?

Simply go to quasaraffiliates.com and register as an affiliate. You will get access to an affiliate portal where you can view and change your personal information, view your accounts and statistics and download banners, pop-ups, marketing material and promotional e-mails for inclusion in your website and opt-in mailing lists.

WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO IN ORDER TO BECOME AN AFFILIATE?

All you have to do is register your website – the process is completely free! Once you have registered you can select banners from our banner farm and embed the code on your site. The banners are served from our site and tagged with your personalized tracking code, which identifies you as the referring affiliate.

WHAT IF I DON’T GET APPROVED?

Quasargaming.com reserves the right to approve or reject your site as an affiliate partner. If your site contains certain topics that we see as detrimental to our brand, we may make a decision not to enter an affiliate partnership. You can reapply after 30 days given that such changes to your website have been amended subject to our terms and conditions.

HOW DO YOU TRACK PLAYERS THAT I REFER?

The banner tags, e-mails and other promotional material you download from your personal banner farm on our affiliate sites are embedded with your personal identifying tag. When players you refer visit the site for the first time, this tag is captured by the player tracking software. Any further activity in the casino by this player will then be allocated to this tag.

WHAT ARE TAGS AND HOW DO THEY WORK?

Tags are randomly generated sequences of alphanumerical code, which are attached to all your banners, e-mails and other promotional material. When a player visits the casino for the first time the tag is captured and logged. These tags will inform us that you have referred the player and enable us to track commissions to you for the player.

HOW ARE COMMISSIONS CALCULATED?

Your commissions are derived by calculating the total wagers less Player payouts or so called winnings, less admin fees and bonuses given to players. The remaining amount is the casino’s net income or purchase amounts wagered and spent. Your commission is calculated on this amount refered to as Net Revenue Generated. Commissions are calculated by adding the total Net Revenue for all your referred players for the month and applying the applicable commission percentage to this amount.

 

We have tiered commissions ranging from 30% up to 40% depending on performance. HOW DO I CHECK ON MY EARNING PROGRESS, ACCOUNTS AND OTHER INFORMATION?

You can log on to the affiliate website at URL www.quasaraffiliates.com and enter your username and password located on the top right hand corner of the page in order to view your account progress, payment history and much more. If you need any statistics that you are not able to view, please send us an email with your questions.

WHEN AND HOW DO YOU PAY AFFILIATES?

Affiliates are paid monthly as long as your account has an amount of at least Eur 50 (Fifty Euros) in commissions. Should you not meet our payment threshold the payment will rollover until you reach the minimum payment threshold. Payments are made by Moneybookers, Neteller, and Bank Wire Transfer. You can select your payment mechanism by accessing the affiliate account at www.quasaraffiliates.com.

WHAT HAPPENS IF ONE OF MY PLAYERS WINS A BIG JACKPOT?

The net loss will be subtracted from commissions you have earned for that month. You will NOT be penalized for consecutive months, thus you will not have a negative earnings figure!

DO MY LOSSES GET CARRIED OVER TO THE NEXT MONTH?

Unlike other casinos, your losses are NOT carried forward! Losses are subtracted from winnings in a specific month and should the account be negative it will be reset to zero the following month. This enables you to earn a healthy income EVERY month!

IS MY SITE ACCEPTABLE?

We reserve the right to exclude any site from participating in our affiliate program. Sites which are aimed at minors, promote violence, illegal activities, child pornography or any other content that we believe to be undesirable will be excluded from participation. Adult content is acceptable as long as it is aimed at an adult market.

CAN I SEND E-MAILS TO MY SITE VISITORS?

We do however encourage you to make use of your opt-in mailing lists to promote the site to your visitors. We do not endorse or condone spamming, as this negatively affects perception of our clients, products and services. Spamming can be reported to affiliates@quasargaming.com. Affiliates guilty of spamming will have their accounts locked until after the report has been investigated. Repeated spamming will result in your account being closed indefinitely. All Affiliates must sign our no-spam warrantee as part of the registration process, in which they undertake not to send unsolicited mail.
